What challenges did you have before working with JUCRA?

My name is Rob Magits. I live in Marbella in Southern Spain, and I own a few businesses. The main one is Experience Box, which is dedicated to the organisation of corporate events.

I used to work with another UK based hosting company, but it did not have direct support. I had the support when I logged in, and it was always quite an issue. Solving issues took too long, and it was pretty impersonal.

I am thrilled that I changed to JUCRA because I know they are just down the road. I don’t meet them daily, but the support is outstanding. I can contact them by email and get a quick answer.

Have you had any website/hosting/email/marketing nightmares?

I was hosting the website for my core business on a server of a smaller company. For whatever reason, the server crashed, and all the backups crashed as well.

This was a big issue because we couldn’t recover any information. We had to find some inventive solutions to recover pictures, content and everything else.

Having this issue made me understand that the quality of the service, the server and the security behind it is crucial.

What was your eureka moment with JUCRA?

The first example that comes to mind is the change of server. It improved the performance of the website, even though we were reluctant to do it. We didn’t want to change that, but JUCRA convinced us, and they were right.

I am pleased that they did insist because now I can see the performance of that website is much better.

We can see it, we can feel it, we can see the difference. So for me, it has been a significant improvement.

How has JUCRA helped you?

The first thing is our hosting. We have several websites, and having them all hosted with a safe company that has all the duplication and the safety measures in place gives you a lot of peace of mind.

Obviously, we aren’t IT people, we are business people, and we have to focus on our business. JUCRA helps you understand what you need for a successful website.

They provide the initial advice about designing your website, its look and feel, the responsiveness and design, the hosting, and the management of emails.

Then they can even help on the promotional side of things with SEO and the optimisation for search engines.

There is a cost initially, but that’s fine. At the end of the day, you will get a great return on your investment. It’s not a cost anymore; it’s an investment. That’s why I see it, at least.

Would you recommend JUCRA?

I would recommend JUCRA. I’ve done that already to some other companies I know.

Any company dedicated to selling a product or service that needs a website would benefit from working with them.
