I am a UK company but not VAT registered, do I pay tax on my invoices to JUCRA?

You are reading this article because we have sent an invoice to your UK company and it contains 21% tax.

JUCRA Digital SL is registered in Spain and comes under Spanish tax law and by default charges 21% IVA (VAT) except under certain conditions.

If you are a UK registered company but NOT registered for VAT with HMRC then in order to receive invoices without tax, then you need to provide us a copy of your company registration certificate that you will have received from Companies House in the UK.

On receipt and verification of the certificate, we will then remove the VAT from your invoice and attach the certificate to the invoice for the benefit of the Spanish Tax authorities.

The certificate looks like the example below.
