You are reading this article because you have your website and DNS with us, but you self-host your email with MS Office 365.
Since 2023, Gmail and other email providers have started to implement stricter email policies. If your email DNS is not set correctly, you might experience issues sending emails to certain providers.
These policies have been around for quite some time but mass mail providers of email have not implemented them due to the complexity of setup for the end user, but since late 2023 its been almost obligatory to enable them to ensure deliverability of your emails from various providers. Starting Feb 2024, Gmail is forcing senders to have DKIM enabled in their DNS whereas previously it was not neccesary. |
To ensure that you can deliver your emails to the mail providers, you must ensure that the following policies are enabled.
The table below assumes you have DNS with us, but host your MS Office 365 by yourself in your own account at Office365

How do I get my MS365 DKIM record?
There are TWO PARTS to this process.
PART 1
You need to create two cname records in MS Office 365 and give them to JUCRA so they can add them to your DNS. Once you have done this, you can do PART 2.
Step 1: Inside your MS Office account, on the DKIM page, select the domain you wish to configure.
Step 2: Click Create DKIM keys. You will see a pop-up window stating that you need to add CNAME records.
Step 3: Copy the CNAMES shown in the pop-up window
Step 4: Send the above records to hello@jucra.com
PART 2
JUCRA will then proceed to add the records to the DNS and once we confirm back to you that we have done so, you need to do the steps below within your MS Office account to confirm that's its anabled..
Step 5: Return to DKIM page to enable DKIM.
If you see the CNAME record doesn't exist error, it might be due to:
- Synchronization with DNS server, which might take few seconds to hours, if the problem persists repeat the steps again
- Check for any copy-paste errors, like additional space or tabs etc.
JUCRA will then run a DKIM lookup tool to confirm that the DKIM keys have been applied correctly.
