How to enable Litespeed Web Cache

Lightning Base uses Litespeed webserver, which has a caching system built-in to the webserver itself. Litespeed Cache plugin for WordPress allows sites to enable and then manage this cache. We suggest this plugin to our customers and many are using the plugin on their sites.

LiteSpeed is fast enough at delivering static files that there is no need to cache them. It caches PHP/dynamic files that are slower to retrieve from the back end - content such as images/css/js/etc is just delivered direct, as there isn't a benefit to caching it.

You can activate the cache by going to cPanel >> LiteSpeed Web Cache Manager >> Scroll down and click on Wordpress cache >> Select the domain >> Click on Enable. This will install the LiteSpeed Cache plugin and enable the cache automatically. You can then see the settings in WordPress dashboard in the main menu under "Litespeed Cache".
