You are reading this article because you currently have your email hosted with another company and wish to migrate over to our Rackspace Mail solution or you have your email with us and your DNS is hosted somewhere else.
You will need to adjust your DNS as follows and add the MX records, SPF and CNAME:
|MX||@ or left blank||mx1.emailsrvr.com||10||3600 seconds or lowest allowed|
|MX||@ or left blank||mx2.emailsrvr.com||20||3600 seconds or lowest allowed|
|TXT||@ or left blank||v=spf1 include:emailsrvr.com ~all||NA||3600 seconds or lowest allowed|
|CNAME||autodiscover||autodiscover.emailsrvr.com||NA||3600 seconds or lowest allowed|
This is a very simple change to the dns record for your domain. To be able to do this you need to have access to your dns records so if you do not know how to do this, please ask your technical representative or domain provider who should be able to easily change this for you.
We also recommend that you apply SPF: https://www.jucra.com/whmcs/knowledgebase/22/
We also recommend that you apply DMARC: https://www.jucra.com/whmcs/knowledgebase/48/
IMPORTANT NOTE: if you have a control panel like Cpanel or similar, then you will need to make sure that the web site server records are treating your email accounts as "EXTERNAL EMAIL". If you dont you might find that any web site generated emails will try to be delivered locally to the web server and never delivered to your email account. See this article about external mail and web forms: https://www.jucra.com/whmcs/knowledgebase/36/
