You are reading this article because you either:

a. Currently have your email hosted with another company and wish to migrate over to our SmarterMail solution
b. You have your SmarterMail email with us and your DNS & website is hosted somewhere else.


You will need to adjust your DNS as follows and add the MX records, SPF, DMARC and Autodiscover to your DNS records.

Type Hostname Destination Priority TTL
MX @ or blank mx1.hsws.com  10 3600 or lowest or lowest allowed
MX @ or blank mx2.hsws.com 20 3600 or lowest or lowest allowed
CNAME @ or blank autodiscover.hsws.com - 3600 or lowest or lowest allowed
TXT @ or blank v=spf1 include:emailsrvr.com ~all - 3600 or lowest or lowest allowed
TXT _dmarc contact us about dmarc settings
TXT DKIM contact us about dmarc settings
