This arctile will explain how to migrate an email account from a remote server (source) into a SmarterMail account (destination).
This example is for a new, empty account.
| BEFORE YOU BEGIN You will need to know the username and password and server hostname for the source and destination servers. |
1. Log in to the webmail on the SmarterMail server and go to Settings > Connectivity
2. In the Connectivity section you will see a box foir Migration
3. If you are importing from another IMAP account, choose Other.
4. Enter the source server credentials and then click the start button.
As long as you enter the source data correctly, the migration will go through as planned.
