Summary

A recent phishing email has been reported, claiming to be from “Winkworth Spain” and requesting recipients to verify their email address by clicking a link.

This is a fraudulent attempt to steal your information. Please do not click on the “Verify Here” button or any part of the email.


⚠️ How to Identify the Phishing Email

Here are some of the details from the email:

  • From Name: Winkworth Spain

  • To: Winkworth 1

  • Subject: Activity Verification

  • Sender Email: Appears to be ****@winkworth.es

  • Message: Asks the user to click on a button labelled “Verify Here” to confirm their email.

❗ Why This is Dangerous

This email is designed to look legitimate, but it’s a classic phishing attempt. Clicking the button may:

  • Lead you to a fake website that looks real

  • Capture your email address and password

  • Potentially install malware or steal other personal information

✅ What You Should Do

  1. Do not click on any links or buttons in the email.

  2. Mark the email as spam/phishing in your email client.

  3. Delete the message from your inbox and trash folder.

  4. If you clicked the link and entered any login details:

    • Immediately change your email password.

    • Enable two-factor authentication (2FA).
